Basic Electrical Safety in Theatres

Description

Duration: 45 minutes

Electricity is part of everyday work in the entertainment industry, whether you’re working backstage, front of house, in technical roles, or in office-based areas. Most of the time it works quietly and reliably in the background, which makes it easy to overlook the risks it can present.

This course is designed to give you a clear, practical understanding of electrical safety in entertainment settings. It focuses on recognising common hazards, using equipment safely, and knowing what to do if something doesn’t look or feel right.
