Legionella Awareness

This course is designed to build awareness and provide practical, easy-to-understand knowledge about Legionella and its management. • Legal Responsibilities: Understand the duties of employers, premises owners, and competent persons in managing Legionella risks.

• Risk Assessment: An overview of how Legionella risks are identified, assessed, and recorded in the workplace.

• Control Measures: Discover simple ways to prevent and control the growth of Legionella in water systems.

• Monitoring and Maintenance: Learn about the importance of maintaining safe water systems and keeping accurate records of control measures.

• Reporting Requirements: Understand when and how to report cases of Legionellosis under RIDDOR.
